I like this eye mask because it gives a complete blackout and a nice scent. This cannot be washed.

I've been using these eye masks on and off since the early 2000s. I first discovered it when it was under the brand Burt Bees and sold in a gift bundle pack with Burt Bees products. After that, I couldn't find them for years and wore my original carefully while I cherished every use because I thought I would likely never find the mask again since Burt Bees wasn't selling them anymore. I would search the internet periodically to see if I could find them. I finally found them under this brand Urban Spa which I think is their original brand and I guess they had a partnership with Burt Bees at some point or something. I can't tell you how relieved and happy I am to have found them again. This eye mask is covered in silk, the borders are cotton, and it's stuffed with cotton. It's breathable due to the silk and cotton combo, it has these little pouches at the bottom of the mask near the under eye area that make sure that light does not get in, this is a key feature. The bands that go around the head stretch out but I'm perfectly fine with that because I do a gentle double around single tie and they stay put. I fold the sticky velcro side/tip on itself to keep it out of the way and wear it over a silk hair sleep cap and it's the perfect combination. I have purchased many of these because I want to wear them for a long time and always have them, I have also gifted them. They wash nicely and the cotton stuffing gets nice and fluffy after it comes out of the dryer. I have some large windows that don't have blackout curtains on them and this eye mask ensures that I get a complete dark experience when I'm asleep but the sun has started to rise or during times the moon is bright.

I keep buying it over and over

I've bought 3 for myself and 3 for gifts. These are perfectly soft and the right weight to rest on your eyes and block all the light. I will keep buying these when they wear out

Use it almost every day since the last ten years. The elastic gets sloppy after two years. When I clean it in the washing machine, the lavender bag gets cocky, but it’s still usable. I would not use any other brand because the fabric is soft and fits well on my face. The lavender bag cuts all the light very well. Will buy it again.
